Noles Host NCAA Tallahassee Regional And Earn All- Region Honors. TALLAHASSEE, Fla. For the third consecutive season, No. Florida State will begin its NCAA postseason in Tallahassee as the Seminoles are the No. NCAA Softball Championship and will host a four- team regional on Jo. Anne Graf Field on May 2. The Seminoles (4.
Tallahassee by USF (4. South Carolina (3. Florida A& M (2. The three- day regional in Tallahassee will start on May 2. USF versus South Carolina at 1. Florida State playing Florida A& M 3. The USF- South Carolina game will air on the SEC Network, while FSU- FAMU will be broadcast on ESPN3.
All games of the tournament will be broadcast on ESPN3 with Melissa Lee and Leigh Ross on the call, with select games involving South Carolina also being shown on the SEC Network. Live stats will be available on NCAA. Game. Tracker. Each Florida State game of the regional will be broadcast through Seminole Softball Radio on Seminoles. Playing at home in the postseason is a great advantage for us and I am glad we will have this opportunity again this year,” said FSU head coach Lonni Alameda. Though for some of the other teams, our home field might feel just as comfortable for them as USF was here in 2.
South Carolina’s been in our regional the last two seasons and we play FAMU nearly every year. It will be an exciting weekend of softball and we are prepared to attack the next step toward our goals.”The Seminoles have faced a total of 1. NCAA Tournament field, including seven teams that earned conference tournament championships – Auburn, Minnesota, Tulsa, Cal State Fullerton, LIU Brooklyn, Florida A& M and Valparaiso. It marks the 1. 7th consecutive season that the Noles have reached the regional round and they are one of nine schools to make the NCAA tournament every year since 2. The double elimination regional will conclude on May 2. NCAA Tallahassee Regional will match up with the winner of the Lexington Regional in the NCAA Super Regional round on May 2. If Florida State wins its regional, it will host the Super Regionals.
Tickets are on sale now with full session passes available for $2. Single- game tickets for Friday’s games will go on sale Friday morning and will be $7 for adults and $5 for youth and seniors.

NFCA All- Region Teams Announced. Florida State was well- represented on the 2. National Fastpitch Coaches Association Southeast All- Region Teams as five Seminole student- athletes were selected to the three teams, as announced by the NFCA on Thursday.
The five players selected are the most since 2. Noles placed six members on the NFCA All- Region Teams. The 2. 01. 6 ACC Player of the Year Alex Powers earned All- Region First Team honors, while Jessica Warren, Ellie Cooper and ACC Pitcher of the Year Jessica Burroughs were chosen to the All- Region Second Team. Warren was also chosen to the All- Region Second Team in 2. Sophomore Morgan Klaevemann was selected to the All- Region Third Team, an honor she also received as a freshman in 2. Really excited for the program and the opportunities that the kids get to represent Florida State,” said Alameda.
